How you're pinged
Keep the dashboard open in a tab (it can be in the background) to hear sounds. Discord pings work even with the browser closed, as long as the tracker is running. Browsers only allow sound after you've clicked somewhere on the page once.

How fast items are checked
The official API only lets the tracker make a limited number of requests per minute, shared by every item. Spend them on what you trade: watch your key items closely and slow down or switch off categories you don't care about.
Only the admin can change tracking speed. Ask them to add your key items to “Watch closely”, or set a price alert: alert items are always checked first.

Auto = busy items fast, rarely sold items slowly, cheap items hourly. Fast = every item at the fast speed. Slow = every item at the slow speed. Hourly = new lots and prices checked about once an hour. Off = new lots aren't checked (prices still update hourly). Watched items and price-alert items are always checked fast, whatever their category is set to.
Excluded items
Items on this list aren't tracked for anyone: they use no requests, don't show up in search, the feed or the market, and their stored price history is deleted. Use it for items that can't be sold on the auction or that nobody trades. You can put an item back at any time; it then starts collecting from scratch.

Cheap items
In Auto categories, items whose usual lot is worth less than this are only checked hourly: they can't make a big profit, so they aren't worth the requests. Their prices are still tracked. Set 0 to turn this off.
